The most beautiful hiking tours in Val Gardena/Gröden

 
In the following we are going to shortly present and describe you the ten most beautiful hiking tours in Val Gardena/Gröden so that you can already start tuning in to your hiking holidays. By the way, all the tours described are part of the hiking programme that is offered by the hiking guide of our hotel.
 
Friedrich-August-trail
The tour starts on Passo Sella/Sellajoch and leads along the famous Friedrich-August-trail. The refuge hut Sasso Piatto/Plattkofelhütte is a good place for a longer stop. The tour continues towards Mont Seura (2548 m) and takes you back to S. Cristina/St.Christina by chairlift.
  
Alpine hut Comic – Monte Pana
Emilio Comici was a famous climber. Starting the tour on the Passo Sella/Sellajoch the hut named after him is your first stop. Then you continue to Mont Seura and Monte Pana and finally reach St. Christina. Return by bus.
  
Raschötz – Alpine pasture Brogles
From the hotel you walk to the Raschötz lift, which takes you up to Raschötz, a place with a great panorama. Then you walk on to the Inner Raschötz and to the traditional alpine hut Brogles. You proceed until Furnes and then take the cable car back to Ortisei/St. Ulrich.
  
Alpine pasture Brogles – Pana wind-gap
From the hotel you walk until Furnes and from there on to the alpine hut Brogles with its wonderful view on Funes/Villnöss and the Odle/Geislerspitzen. Proceed to Seceda over the Pana wind-gap; back to the hotel.
  
Col Raiser – Refuge hut Firenze/Regensburger Hütte – Seceda
Starting from S. Cristina/St. Christina you go to Col Raiser by cable car. From there you walk to the refuge hut Firenze/Regensburger Hütte, on to Seceda and to the alpine hut Trojer/Trojerhütte. You return to Ortisei/St. Ulrich via the Cuca saddle.
  
Dantercepies – Edelweiss Valley - Valle Lunga/Langental
You take the bus to Selva/Wolkenstein and go to Dantercepies by cable car. There the alpine trail takes you to the Edelweiss Valley via the alpine hut Jimmy and across the Campai pass back to the Valle Lunga/Langental in Selva/Wolkenstein.
   
Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm
You start in Ortisei/St. Ulrich and go to the biggest alpine pasture of Europe by cable car. In this unique paradise of nature the tour takes you to the alpine hut Ritsch and on to Magdalena and Raffael to the traditional hut Sanon. You walk back to Ortisei/St. Ulrich via Pilat.
   
Pizza-Scharte
From S. Cristina/St. Christina you take the cable car to Col Raiser. From there you walk past the refuge hut Firenze/Regensburger Hütte to the Piza wind-gap and on to the refuge hut Stevia. Descent  to Selva/Wolkenstein or S. Cristina/St. Christina over the Silvester wind-gap.
  
Refuge hut Vicenza/Langkofelhütte - Wind-gap Sassolungo/Langkofel
From S. Cristina/St. Christina you take the chairlift to Monte Pana. There begins the tour to the refuge hut Vicenza/Langkofelhütte, which lies in the very heart of the Sassolungo/Langkofel group in a truly amazing surrounding. You walk on to the wind-gap Sassolungo/Langkofel, then take the lift down to Passo Sella/Sellajoch and the bus back to Ortisei/St. Ulrich.
  
Ciampinoi – Refuge hut Firenze/Langkofelhütte – Monte Pana
From Selva/Wolkenstein you take the cable car to Ciampinoi. The trail leads you directly underneath the steep faces of the Sassolungo/Langkofel to the refuge hut Vicenza/Langkofelhütte. From there you walk back to Monte Pana and take the chairlift down to S. Cristina/St. Christina.
   
Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm – alpine hut Arnika – Puflatsch
From Ortisei/St. Ulrich you take the cable car to the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm and walk across the biggest alpine pasture in Europe. Another lift takes you to the alpine hut Arnika. After a break you continue for Puflatsch and Pufles. Back to Ortisei/St. Ulrich by bus.
